Downloadable Content Deleted

Okay, so when i try to join any DayZ server, it puts me back in the server list and says You cannot play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip, dayz_vehicals.

What should i do? I need replys quicko. i bought this game for this, it would be £25 down the drain if this does not work! :(

I had the exact same issue when I first started up last night, and had just purchased arma 2 in order to play as well. It through me off because I had just placed all the files in the appropriate folder.

What worked for me was adding the following launch options ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead in steam:

-nosplash -world=empty -mod=@dayz

Then make sure you launch the game by right clicking opersation arrowhead and selecting Launch ARMA 2: Combined Operations.

Okay, know it says, Bad Version, server rejected connection :(

Bad Version? Have you recently re-downloaded all of the files from the dayz website and unpacked em into the /addons folder?

Okay, now that error message is gone, i now have another one, similer to the first one, it says

You cannot play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code. It turned out i did not have the code files. so i put them in the addons folder and extracted them, but i still get the message? Any ideas?

You're not running Combined operations or you didn't set the launch options in steam (If you're using steam.)

The code i set is

-nosplash -world=empty -mod=@dayz

is this correct?

Thats about right, the only real thing you need is -mod=@dayz the rest is basically to make it run smoother.

Make sure you installed DayZ correctly! If not then consider the DayZ Installer!

Okay, i will start from scratch again, i will delete the addons folder, and start again i guess.
