[FORUM] Experimental Feedback section

Recommended Posts

This might just be the best idea ever. I was just wondering about this this morning...

You might still want to explain yourself a bit. Some people might get slightly pissed if you don't.

Well. Well well.. what do we have here...

I doubt experimental feedback will be very much positive, and you could always suggest something in the Suggestions section, and if they is a bug, you don't have to complain, you report it to bug reports.

Meant to post this in the Dayz SA suggestions section but I'm having one of those days. I sense sarcasm in the 2nd post but my sarcasm powers are low today.

That's the point. We give feedback. "Hey devs, this and that doesn't work". "Kay, random forum member, we will fix it".

No sarcasm at all. I like the idea :)

LOL cheers man, I tend to be on my guard on these forums, seems to have more than it's fair share of little jumped up forum nazis thinking they are forum mods.

I mistakenly tarred you with the same brush.

I wonder would a Mod be kind enough to move this to the Dayz Sa suggestions section.

I think you are addressing a problem that staff should certainly address.

When rocket posts the details of an experimental patch, it's nice and all to see all of the back-patting posts. I think the changes are great, too. But wading through all of the "congrats" and "thanks, mate" posts, plus all the surly bickering and off topic garbage makes the thread completely useless.

Forum team, can we either be ruthless in the announcements and kill all non-feedback posts and preserve only posts DIRECTLY RELATED TO EXPERIENCE WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL PATCH or have a separate feedback thread dedicated to same? That way, the dev team as well as those of us choosing or considering the experimental patch can make an educated decision without drifting through a million garbage posts...

Thanks,

Dis
