crafting ghilli suits

Recommended Posts

First of, im a huge fan of the ghilli suit, i love it since it gives a lite bit better cover, but that is only a litle since grass and textures changes the further away you are from the person. So ghilli guys are pretty easy to find at longer distances. But thats now what im going to talk about.

in the mod, you could get ghilli suits from loot, they whernt that common, but you alwasy found them in clothes packages. For stand alone, i dont want ghillis suits to be loot able.

Instead, the only way to get ghilli suit in the standalone, should be, and only through crafting. in otrher words, you have to craft it, their is no other way.

So you might think, how do you make a ghilli suits. Well, all the stuff that are needed are actually already in the stand alone.

First of, you need those potato sacks, from them you craft strings.

You then have to color the strings using spray can (Black, Green, (white and brown color should be added)) on the strings to get different colored strings.

Then you take the strings to create the a "loop", and you need many loops to create a ghilli suit (Brown, Green and uncolored string for summer ghilli, White, uncolored and black for winter)

Then you take those loops and craft them with clothes, such as shirt, pants and such to have a ghilli suit.

What do you all think about this?

I think that all would be running in ghillies in about 15 min from spawn.

I like it, I actually think a proper, military grade ghilli should be added as a very rare spawn, but I would also like to see home-made, improvised versions.

I like the string idea, rags are another option, or maybe a combination of the two.

I would like to see the home-made ghilli crafted in several pieces EG you craft a rifle ghilli, a top-ghilli, bottom-ghilli, head ghili. Each piece would take a tremendous effort to make and be pretty fragile when under fire.
