How to play on the DayZ experimental?

I'm unfamiliar what I am supposed to do in order to play the experimental version, I know you have to go to Steam settings and change it to 'Steam Beta Update', I did that and it gave me the option to restart Steam, I did, then I proceeded to open DayZ after Steam was finished updating. The problem I'm having is that when I try to join an Experimental server with 35/40 I'm unable to join because it says "Bad Version, server connection rejected", has anyone had this problem before? Is there a solution to this? Any help would be great, Thanks! :lol:

Go to your steam library, right click on DayZ, go to properties, then go to the beta tab and choose "opt in experimental". The update will auto-update. When you get in game, put "experimental" into your filter. Have fun.

There are no experimental servers right now.  You can keep the experimental exe as it's the same as stable tho.  Just have to wait like the rest of us for them to update experimental.

0.52 Experimental will come next week, monday, wednesday, whenever they deem it ready for the push. Until then, both branches are on the same version and only stable servers are online.
