Odd Firefight

So I decided to visit electro just after the sun has set. I start going through high priority buildings (firestation, market, office etc.) when I bump into a guy. He tries to attack me with fists but misses and immeadiatly runs around a corner before I fire upon him. I then move around the corner and shoot at him before he goes around another corner. After this a chase ensues. I decide to get distance and as I run out I see a guy with the corner of my eye what follows are two thumps I start bleeding and my vision is all blurry. The odd thing is there was no firing sound. After this I go into the hospitals second floor lay down and aim at the stairs, Immeadiatly after this three more thumps follow and I die, the only place to shoot at me was from the stairs that I was aiming at and again no firng sounds at all. During this time I had no connection problems (no yellow or red chains) and I played on a server with 50 ping.

Still could be lag. He hit you in the building, but it didn't register until you were outside.

I was outside, the I ran into the building. A good 30 seconds in between the hits.

That's pretty bad...but you may have both been having issues, on top of poor server performance. It's not unheard of. I have had similar happen to me. In fact I have been attacked by zombies I never even saw coming.
