Animaton For Putting Down Your Weapon

hi guys,

 

i thought it would be cool if there was an animation for putting down your weapon.

so if somebody points his gun at you you could surrender and use "put down weapon" in the interaction menu

the animation should be like in a movie, you would slowly get down, lay your weapon on the ground and slowly stand up again.

( i cant describe it that good, but come on, im sure you watched a movie where something like that happens ! :) )

If you did that, I guess you would be stuck in a slow uncancelable animation that takes an eternity to finish. So you're guaranteed to get knocked out.

But I do know what you're talking about. I have a better idea, make it cancelable by moving and after you cancel it, you would still have the loaded gun in your hands. You could bluff them :D

But... if you surrender and put down your weapon you are in the situation where you could be knocked out anyway? I mean the point of surrendering is that you cant attack them.

And the animation should be 2 parts:

1. you start putting down your weapon (can be cancelled, short animation for standing up again. Keep weapon in your hands)

2. your weapon is already dropped (stand up again, weapon on ground)

Not sure on the suggested execution of it, but the concept gets my support.
