Vehicle Re-fuels?

So my question: i just found a vehicle and got it working, it already had jerry cans in (4) and i was wondering, how do i refuel? can i drive it to the gas station and just wait in it (but wouldnt this attract Zed's) or do i have to sneak in and out with jerry cans to that big fuel tank every time?

To refuel the jerry cans you have to go to the large fuel cylinders (the grey ones that are super wide), find the right spot, and use the mouse wheel.

Also where abouts are these large cylinders? are they just at petrol stations?

There are fuel sources at gas stations, near construction areas, utility areas and large barns.
