Vision At Night

Recommended Posts

A full moon provides more then enough ambient light for the human eye to adapt to at night for some vision. It may not be clear enough for long distance but definitely for the vicinity you are in. You could take this concept even further by using a flashlight blind a person at night because their vision is currently adapted to a low light so a bright light would completely blind them.

The current vision during night is just impossible to play in. Either I cant see where I am going or I get shot at every time I turn on a light.

I would like to be able to play a full day/night range server without being forced to use a flashlight that basically makes me a walking bullseye.

Try disabling "Clouds" in the options, and the moon can sprinkle it's light of joy on you and the way ahead of you)

Perhaps you misunderstood me. My main focus of this is that we could still visually see whats in front of us by moonlight alone.

But in a tactical situation where someone was trying to hit you with melee attacks at night.. you could flash your light in their eyes, blinding them giving you time to defend yourself or run.

Not a terrible idea. IRL tach lights do this, but it would have to be VERY temporary to avoid abuse.
