Dunxel 17 Posted January 28, 2014 I've heard of it.. but never saw it till last night. Got into a NASTY gun fight inside of a 2+ story building. That only had 1 way up.1 Friend down 2 of us left standing. The one who died surprisingly spawned very close by & ran back.The gun fight attracted a lot of attention and perhaps the return of those who we killed. Had a wall leaner telling everyone on the outside how many people were in the building what they looked like, what gear we had on, ect.Just before our friend returns some fresh spawn. (no gear). comes down from the upstairs which we checked was cleared. He tried to punch us, so we axed him.Our friendly made it back in about 6 minutes. Gathered his gear back & went back up stairs to double check. "Top floor is very clear. Coming back down."We hear that sound. *Gun loading* sound. Then just before my friend could turn around to verify if that sound came behind him from a possible server hopper... *M4 Rounds* go off and he is dead again. This guy server hopped to sneak into the building & log in above us to back door us. My other friend charged up stairs with his M4 & the guy combat logged already.The good old wall leaner was started to tell us that he was going to have his friend do it over & over until we are all dead. We ultimately went to all the bodies & hit *Hide Bodies* & logged off. So I would like to suggest a way to prevent people from hopping servers to sneak in above, behind or around you. Just to get you by surprise. When you have your self cornered so that there is only 1 way in & out..Also wall leaning is a really dumb broken game mechanic. Kinda leaving that one open to the community/devs.I read they was going to add something like 20 second log off timers. Didn't see anything about server hoping backdooring.
