Windowed mode

Recommended Posts

Hey all.

Well so far I've figured out how most things work in dayz sa. One thing I don't get is in full screen the mouse movement is a little janky, I have to keep clicking to see where the mouse pointer is which is a huge pain in the ass when you're configuring the settings or in the inventory while in game. I have searched for a bit and found that playing in windowed mode is a way around this.

So my questions are. Is the only fix for this or am I just that dumb? And are the devs planning on fixing this or not? Sorry if this has already been covered but like i said I searched a bit and this is all I could find. I have no beans at the moment. Will my shoes do?

I've experienced something like this in another game; a game controller the game didn't recognize was responsible, unplugging it while playing that title worked, for it. Might be worth a try if you have joystick or something else the game is interpreting incorrectly?

Are you running the game in at you're cards/monitor native resolution?

no controller plugged in and I have set the game at 1920x1080 in the menu. I dont know if it matters but I have a 144hz monitor and win 7 64bit. It was like this after I first installed the game.

It was a long shot, but worth a try.

I'm also using win 7 64bit in 1920x1080, so no problem there. It almost sounds like something else is stealing focus.

I can't think of anything else, I just starting playing a few days ago myself.

Mouse / Drivers maybe?

Under user interface there is a resolution setting with windowed mode availible at the bottom. I have mine set to 1920x1080.

In addtion on the main menu there is a Rendering resolution setting, which I also have set to 1920x1080.

Hmm my desktop rez is at 1920x1080, but I don't see an option for rendering resolution in the menu. Does days support the latest nvidia drivers?
