Junkyard Guard 0 Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) I'm curious as to why my DayZ looks like this: This is with gamma AND brightness ALL THE WAY UP at 5 or 6 pm on a server...I did look, by the way, for this problem but everybody keeps saying it's because they're injured but I know that this is not my case... nexarion 0 Posted January 26, 2014 You´ll have to activate clouds if you havn´t. They are combined with the moon which turns some light into the darkness ;)
aJani 0 Posted January 27, 2014 I Have the same issue. Unfortunately, activating the clouds cant help. This is annoying cause I can play only after 8pm, and cause my friends(and my enemies) can see very well with full brightness and gamma, while i cant... Mos1ey 6301 Posted January 27, 2014 Make sure clouds and HDR are turned up, other than that I'm not sure what could be causing this.
aJani 0 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) For me, that didnt work. :( Edited January 27, 2014 by aJani
UnderWoods 17 Posted January 27, 2014 I had this same issue a few days ago. The fix was turning clouds back on, however, i did have one server where when i turned clouds on at night, i still couldnt see a darn thing. Does it matter if the moon is out or not? Actually is the moon ever not out?
yogi92 50 Posted January 27, 2014 One thing that can help for sure is disabling shadows.

Actually is the moon ever not out? I have the same problem... only seems to happen when there's no moon (yes, that does happen). Tried clouds on/off, shadows on/off, hdr up/down. omgitzgnar 7 Posted January 29, 2014 i've had this happen a few times, the trick is to make sure the moon is out, if the moon isn't out there won't be much light, HDR on it's highest setting (low i believe it is) Clouds on very low, shadows off. Just to make sure, and not trying to sound like a douche, as i've run into a few people who were completely oblivious, but OP does know it's night time, right?
