DayZ BSOD!

Recommended Posts

Before u tell me its my setup let me tell you its not! I know BSOD is mostly a hardware problem. What i say its DayZ causing it. My PC is new, until now i never had a BSOD. I have games that i play but no one cause this. Only DayZ. The thing is like this. First time freeze for 10 sec after i can play another 10 min then another freeze but shortly after an error occur. "the system cannot find the file specified". And BSOD in 2 seconds. I install and reisntall and install again. Same error. Another error that is happening in game "cannot load material file military something something... I know this game is in alfa stage. I know it. I dont want to be perfect. BUT NOT LIKE THIS. Please if u come here and you tell me its my pc fault... ITS NOT! Well... DayZ is the source of the BSOD. How can i make this to stop. For me is unplayable. Only 15 min of play and BSOD. in 15 min i cant do nothing in this game... and if i do, when i enter again on server my items are gone(not all the time). But this is not the problem. I was accepted this when i buyed the game. But the thing with BSOD... i cant accept something like this. I google this problem and i saw many people had the same problem with dayz mod and even with standalone or arma 2,3 list go on. Can someone tell me how to stop this? Once again. My ddrs are good, my motherboard good... every piece in my pc is good. The problem is not the pc. Tnks for understanding.Sorry for my english.

OFF TOPIC:THIS GAME IS INSTENSE! I love it!

Getting to the source of a bluescreen requires a few things:

System specs (including psu)

Overclock (frequencies and voltages!)

Driver versions/OS

A copy of the .dmp file created by the BSOD would be nice too.

The 'Cannot load...' errors are unrelated. Those are from a known issue and will not trigger a BSOD. No way, no how!

The short freezes: I've had those only when I start getting too aggressive with my OC. Push too far and the timings of various things become critically unstable. I usually find that the memory timings fail first, but that could be just the memory I'm using.

If you're runng an OC set up, wind it back and try without. If not, IDK. Not enough info to diagnose anything.
