Looking for an inexpensive Server

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a cheap server host that provides DayZ early access game(The one you pay 29.99 for on steam). I'm looking for 40 slots for about $30 or cheaper none of this $100 ridiculous price that I've seen around. It also has to be a quality server with good customer service. I'm currently renting a 7 days to die server and it's awesome however for some reason DayZ is not allowing smaller companies provide servers therefore the prices go up.

So far I've found http://www.hfbservers.com/ they rent for a good price just wondering if anyone has rented from them at all? Let me know if they're any good?

Never mind it's not standalone it's the mod

For that price, good luck TBH they are way over priced atm but its just the GSP's cashing out on SA success.

Yeah I agree they're over priced. It just goes to show what happens when you let the big companies take over the prices get ridiculous.

To be fair, they did have to roll out a lot of servers at launch at their own expense as part of the deal. And those servers were pretty much hammered by one and all. But too high a price for me ATM, but that will change when we get access to the private server.exe. But that's a while down the track yet.

Hardly something they couldnt afford seeing is how servers could be purchased within days of official release unfolding 5x the revenue at 23 node failures an hour.

I think cheapest around are still around 40-50 euro.

Yeah I've seen those it's still a rip off though. They're taking advantage of the popularity of the game and the fact that there isn't many game server hosts to compete with. There is no way a 40 player server is worth 40-50 euro which is about $60 - $75 Canadian.

Some hosters, e.g. in germany  Rock-Server, offers already pre order for an SA server with much lower pricing, but you have to wait for the release of the files...

If the server files public, the pricing for SA servers will be generally fall.
