Stealth PVP attacks

I know, I'm chalked full of ideas today. This one was bred from a particular player interaction. It goes like this:

 

I spawned in on the coast, headed to elektro this time looking to see new cherno for the first time. Was picking up some bandages from the hospital (no weapon at all yet) so a guy comes up to me and attacks me. I try punching him in the head, but to no avail. He kills me, and for some reason I spawn near Elektro again. I run back to the hospital, and see the guy just standing there... in a corner...

So I walk up to him, punch him in the head a few times until he notices I'm there and shoots me with his gun again.

Seems to me since I was next to him, but not on his screen, I should have been able to snap his neck or kidney stab him with a screwdriver or something.

 

I would like to see something like that in the game.

Critical stabs sound kinda great actually but not the neck snapping thing. Same with an axe. Axe to the head from behind should be insta kill without protection

Don't think it is actually that easy to snap someones neck without some practice.

My point being that, if I had a pair of handcuffs on me I could have handcuffed while he was browsing his inventory he was so oblivious.

 

It doesn't really matter what the modus is - if you sneak up on another player you should be able to insta-kill them if you're not visible on your screen and behind them.

I would like to see Higher Damage values if a hit is given from the back of the head.

 

for instnace -instant knockout if hit in the back of the head with a ball-bat.

 

Actually this does happen, but the person getting hit gets back up far too quickly.

I think there also should be an insta-kill feature....no cutscene bullshit or anything like that, but when you are on a player who has their back to you it should pop up as an option.

 

This would make the paranoid experience of constantly watching your back even better.

 

I remember when I used to play Star Wars Galaxies many moons ago, they had a Deathblow feature which was one of my favorite options about the game. If you were PVPing and you knocked someone unconscious, they had a minute or so to recover and you could stand over them and decide their fate.

 

I would tell my unconscious prey that there was no need to be frightened, this was all for the best. They were heading to a better place (all this while /petting their head)then...Deathblow.
