DayZ Latest patch - My feedback

Recommended Posts

Keep up the good work guys!

So, I have run into the common issues, such as character disappearing, but I have read the thread on how to "recover". So basically, I really would like to see that fixed in the next patch, Also, I agree that that military loot spawns were a little high, however, now it feels like they're too low. I'm not quite sure what the idea behind that was, but it's definitely not helping the server hopping issue. It's harder to get PvP ready, so it sort of encourages server hoping. Every game goes through balancing and it's never on the dot right away so I feel confident that the spawn rates will be adjusted. Especially weapon modules such as the ACOG, or RIS rail, I barely see any of those, and when I finally find a scope or red dot, it's badly damaged :( Aside from that, I have yet to find a shotgun, and have come across some new items such as the pistol flashlight. Though, I haven't seen a RIS rail mounted flashlight since the patch? Weapon cleaning kit is a cool addition, more things to pay attention to, which is awesome. Another thing that I would like to see fixed soon is the sound. I hear pop cans open, people eating and even in game communication from a distance. I was with a buddy doing some reconnaissance, we could hear 2 guys talking to the prisoner they had taken, yet we were never able to find their location. During all of this, sounds of reloading mags, food crunching, opening pop cans... Put us on the edge of our seats, but then we just couldn't pay attention to them because the sounds weren't legitimate.

Again, keep up the good work, and hope to see some more fixes and features soon!
