HELP - cannot find m4 scopes post patch?

Hey fellow survivors (or banditos) I need some help finding some scopes post patch? I am relatively new, and my favorite m4 upgrade spot (the tent city south of the SW Air Strip) has had all the spawns removed.. 

 

I tried the south west air strip barracks, north east military base, the hospitals in a few cities etc.. no luck.. Do I need to head up to the NW military base? Or am I just getting unlucky? My M4 isn't the same without a scope ;)

Hello there my good man, weapon attachment spawn rates have drastically been lowered, they DO spawn though. Try checkout Air control towers and Hangars. The most amount of hangars can be found at the North West Airfield. Keep in mind there is a huge risk going up there. Happy hunting.

Awesome! So the airfield hangers are the big open hangers..? Dumb question I know, but pre-patch there seemed to be no loot in them, or I missed it.

Definitly not as abundent post patch especially since the tent spawns are currently broken.

 

ATC towers, barracks,and bunkers. Thats about it.

Even though the tents dont spawn at the moment, the two story camo huts that are next to the back entrance of NW still spawn them.

Glad they gimped the military spawns, hopefully even server hopping does not help.

Yes, and you just missed it. It can be hard to spot the stuff spawning in hangars, I hold right mouse while running through and make sure i get a good look at all 4 corners.

 

I've found two of the M68 scope post-patch, so they're definitely out there. Also, when you're at the tent areas, look for the two-story net covered towers, those still spawn loot. I actually don't know if those structures exist at the Balota strip, but there are 2 or 3 of them at the NW airfield's tent city.
