Question about unconsciousness and death

Hey, i'm new here. anyways, can you be killed while unconscious, if someone knocks me out and proceeds to beat the shit out of my head with a bat will my screen change to you are dead or will I just stay unconscious. Also is there a way to tell when someone is out cold versus dead?

Well, I can tell you that yes, you can die while unconscious.  Once you're health reaches 0 you're done for.

 

As for the other part, I have 0 experience killing anyone, so I haven't seen unconscious vs. dead.  Someone else will have to answer that.

Yes they can indeed kill you while you are unconscious, and your screen with change to "you are dead" when you die.

Yes, you can be killed and yes it'll let you know. As for knowing if someone is dead, sometimes it bugs but if they are not moving, are bleeding out, or stuck kneeling then they're likely dead or knocked out. Just continuously punch them until the animation shows them dying or they don't move anymore.

Yes they can still be killed, it's happened to me, but often people won't really notice if they are in a hurry.

 

Also I believe your character might still "Groan" not 100% sure but it might happen.

 

 

And no way to tell if someone is knocked out or dead.

 

Thus I always cap em in the head after they are down usually or hit em with an axe.

As a total nub.  Can I bandage other people who are unconscious?  Will it bring them back up or would it just waste a bandage?

Yes, you can bandage unconscious players.  It will stop any bleeding they are suffering from, but will not directly wake them up.  If they're lucky enough to not fall below 500 blood however, their shock will wear off in a few minutes and wake up.  If not they'll need to have someone give them saline or blood, or they'll have to be in a healing state (3000 water, 3500 energy or more)

My friend was shot yesterday (exp server) and fell unconscious. I bandaged him only and he instantly woke up, with colorless and blurred vision. He logged out a little while later - I'm curious to see if he's going to be alive when he logs back in.

You can check their pulse, to see if they are dead, or just knocked out, but its only on exp. servers if I remember correctly.

If you can hide the body, then they are dead. If you cant hide it, then they are unconscious.

My surprise was that he became conscious by simply applying bandage (instantly). I thought he needed blood or saline, epi pen at the least.
