After new update spawned at NW w/ old character and always night

After the new update I thought I would have got reset but I didnt and Im back where I was about a week ago with all my gear but the problem is that whatever server I join it is day for a split second then it goes to night. Is anyone else having this problem and if so how did you solve it.
