exogravis 13 Posted January 23, 2014 Loot seems to be less abundant. finding less items in buildings than usual. some buildings that had loot don't have loot in them. Such as the grey sheds or other houses. was the spawn rate decreased ?
Mdogg2005 447 Posted January 23, 2014 Lol. Read the patch notes. Yes. And eventually, and I imagine gradually, spawns will continue to decrease in abundance. Loot is supposed to be rare. The spawns are (were?) only so high for testing purposes. Once the items are tested, they can and will reduce the spawns.
GunnerSquad 3 Posted January 23, 2014 Items are supposed to be rare in a map the size of 3 county's with 40 players. Makes perfect sense...
deebz1234 243 Posted January 23, 2014 agreed, its kinda insane just more to promote server hopping... lets get loot spawns working and not relying on server restart before fucking with loot quantity.then a server hop timerthen a 10 sec log out timer game is now complete...the end
conan the librarian 99 Posted January 23, 2014 Hehe.. I knew the baby snipers would be pissed when the survival aspects of this game kicked in.. loving it. 'WAAAAH WAAAAAH I WANT MOSINS AND M4S AND EASY LOOT SO I CAN SNIPER FRESH SPAWNS FROM THE HILLS WAAAAAH'
hatesauce 99 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) I think the nerf to loot will definitely cause more server hoping, it is completely counter intuitive to the BALANCING that should be going on. See you on the next hop. Edited January 23, 2014 by hatesauce

jrussell4402 21 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) Although I welcome seeing less loot, it will definitely add to the survivor / struggle to survive, nature of the game as it is intended, I will admit at this point of development it is just encouraging even more server hopping. Im sure in time, a few days to a week, it will get sorted out and another patch will happen along the way. In the mean time just be patient with the growing pains. marcsipe@gmail.com 1 Posted January 23, 2014 I like to think of the empty buildings as being full of the crushing reality of a post apocalyptic countryside. And shattered dreams. Definitely filled with shattered dreams.
Kikez 4 Posted January 23, 2014 Once server hopping is fix SA should become really challenging espicially on hardcore.
