Why does this stuff always happen to me :/

Alright, so i was part of the experimental and noticed that the shotguns/painting etc. is in the stable now.

I simply signed myself out of the experimental and re-downloaded the patch for the stable version, and then tried to run DayZ.

 

Then... POOF DayZ is gone, have to re-download the whole game now (or something else that takes 3.1GB to download).

I have literally NO IDEA how the flick this happened as i just signed myself out of the experimental and downloading a patch..

 

For some people this shouldn't be a big problem, but for me, with 300kb/s download speed it really is..

Suppose i have to sit out the 4 hours of download again now?

Steam has been a real bitch the past few days, it wouldn't be a DayZ thing.

Let's be honest...Steam has always been kind of the huge bitch we simply tolerate because we have to xD

 

Nothing wrong with Steam. Only had one or two ''problems'' in the 4 years i used it, and customer service always replied to my questions right away.

 

If not for Steam, you probably wouldn't be playing Standalone now.

dude ive been using steam since I was 14! (Thats 6 years now :P) and ive never had a single problem with it! Nothing that couldn't be easily solved anyway :(

That's strange, I've been using Steam for less than a year now and have had several problems! lol xD

 

It depends how you use it. If you're always buying new games etc. the issues will be more noticeable. Normally, even when Steam has problems it won't affect being able to play games you already own.
