Loot bomb

I was thinking about the improvised explosives that should be coming along somewhere down the line and was wondering if time bombs should be able to be activated while still in your bag. That way, if you die and your killer goes to loot you, they will die an explosive death instead if not cautious.

What do you think of this?

1. Why would someone risk his gear with a self made bomb?

2. Who would do this? When you are dead you dont need your stuff anymore.

If your killer dies in the blast you can come back and loot what's left...or you can just blast your gear to ruin it. Just cause you don't see the possible uses doesn't mean they aren't obvious.

You could strap a grenade onto the inside of a lock box with duct tape, a knife and string

 

All that would be visible is a square patch of duct tape on the outside, which is holding the string in place that's attached to the pin. (Which adds balance, so players can inspect it 1st.) 

But it overall, your idea has no real enjoyment, you won't know if the player blew up, you won't be able to enjoy the sight of it and by the time you get back the bodies, most of the time they'd have de-spawned (hopefully, nothing more immersion breaking than finding yourself dead in a field).
