Graphical Issues - White textures

Hey everyone,

 

I've searched through the forums and seen a few problems similar to mine with textures flashing appears white-ish and haven't found any solutions that solved my problems. I've tried every possible configuration of settings in the game including turning off ATOC and anti-aliasing with no luck. The textures flash constantly and make the game pretty unplayable. Any help at all would be much appreciated. Thanks

 

System specs below

 

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 
Processor: Intel® Core i7 CPU 860  @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
GPU: Radeon 6870 XFX

Normally, I'd associate artefacts like those with either an overheating GPU or a failing GPU overclock.

 

When was the last time you cleaned out the fans on your graphics card and is it overclocked?

 

Have you tried changing the 3D Graphics options in Catalyst Control Centre? You can make a profile just for DayZ which loads when you start the game.
