Video Guide: All Medical Items - To keep or not to keep?

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow survivors,

in the next installment of my ongoing series of Experiments & Explanations, this time I take a closer look at the various medical items in the game and tell you what currently do - and no less important, what they don't do. Enjoy, and stay healthy my friends :)

All Medical Items - To keep or not to keep?

Jump markers:

0:40 Alcohol Tincture

2:10 Tetracycline Antibiotics

2:41 Bandages

3:26 Blood Bag IVs and Saline Bag IVs

5:03 Charcoal Tablets

6:00 Defibrilator and Epinephrine (Update: Defibs work as intended in 0.31.114500)

9:33 Disinfectant Spray

10:28 Injection Vial

10:42 IV Starter Kits

11:15 Morphine and Medical Splints

12:18 Painkillers

12:35 Syringes

12:47 Vitamins

13:20 Water Purification Tablets

13:48 Conclusion - What to keep and what not to keep?

I'd appreciate a few thumbs up in the Steam Community Guide section as guides remain unrated unless a certain amount of ratings has been reached: http://steamcommunity.com/id/3365968/myworkshopfiles/?appid=221100&section=guides

Until you're ready to make friends with other players, you may as well dump the blood bag kits/saline/etc. and just stick to bandages and other self-administerable items.  That's for the lone wolves out there.  If you've got a friend, you're good to go.
