Weapon Dropping..HELP!!

For some reason all of a sudden, whenever I try to put my gun up or switch from my gun to axe, it drops my gun on the ground. I've died since then, and didn't fix it. Then, I uninstalled/reinstalled game and that didn't fix it either. It puts takes the axe and puts it back up just fine, but won't do correctly with the gun. It just puts it down every time I try to switch. Also, when trying to pick the gun up, I can't drag it to my inventory or use the drag/drop equipping. I only have the option to "Take xxx into hands". Once it does that, it shows at the very bottom on my inventory section instead of at the top right under my gear.

Best to get Fraps and show us in a video, just in case you are doing something wrong and we could maybe get a clearer picture...

 

I tend to put my gun on quick slot 1 and axe or pistol on quick slot 2 and change from there(pressing number 1 or 2)

... might help ya out, dunno.

 

added* try clicking the top right X in hand box, that un-equips better than using mouse.

Yeah that's what I normally do after I get them equipped. That's how I tried changing weapons or putting the gun on my back by just pushing 1 when it was equipped and it dropped it. Or if I press 2 to go to the axe, it drops the gun. I'll try to get a fraps.

 

Added: Just saw your hand comment. Yeah, I've tried that also and didn't work.

Try double clicking instead of dragging.

**UPDATE**: It will now do correctly IF I have spots in my inventory. So basically it will not "equip" it as it did before when it would keep it in the section right under my gear on the inventory screen. For example, I have 4 slots in my bag for the 45 gun. If I unequip it, it just places it in those 4 inventory slots that it takes up and I can even drag it on to the character (which I couldn't do before). So after that, I dropped the gun, picked something else up where I'd only have 3 slots left and not enough to carry the gun in inventory. Wouldn't work. So it's still accessing the gun from inventory instead of putting it where the gun should go on the inventory screen.

LLOOOOLL I saw your video. so you cant hold two items at same time, you have full inventory this cause your character drop FNX when you want holster or using another thing.. so you need four empty spaces in your inventory put FNX to inventory and HALELUJA you can switching between FNX and AXE (((((REMEMBER IF YOU WANT SWITCHING BETWEEN WEAPONS, YOU MUST THESE ITEMS HAD AT INVENTORY)))))
