Yeah I visited last night, it is pretty good. Liking the police station building. Plus, there's a good chance of finding ammo in the boot of police cars.

There is a cluster of buildings just north of the NEAF. According to the DB, they should be spawning loot, but I've been through it a few times, including after restarts, and have seen nothing, and that includes zombies. I'd guess that they're going to give it a name and perhaps some additional structures at some point. If you continue NW of there, on the north side of the train tracks and that major road beyond it, there is a very large area of intersecting roads, that if an entire city would rival Cherno/Elektro in size. I can't wait to see how that shakes out.

talkin about the area where the garages and the soccerfield at, ya? bit east of that are also like 6 brick buildings, i really like to c a big town up in the north.

just check the map, if u take a look into north u see several cleared/bulldozed spots in the woods, probably prepared for towns

Yeah, I've seen that. Theres a building near the train station up north which looks like the hotel from the shining. I love that area.

I asked Hicks a few questions on his live stream with Senchi yesterday, one of which was about the content up north. He actually answered a few of the ones I posed, which was cool. Apparently Senchi is the creating the content for the map, and is, and will be, working on the areas up north over the next year. Hicks said he'll go over to him and try to persuade him to commit some of the changes every once in a while to get some of the stuff added, so it appears that the northern areas of the map will be coming in slowly over time as the patches are released.

I also asked about bicycles before vehicles, since vehicles are a long way off. He said that he might imagine that bikes would be in first before mechanized vehicles, but not to quote him, which I just did anyway. Specifically he mentioned mountain bikes.

Ah thats pretty cool that he replied. I would like to see some kind of vehicles in the game soon, but really haven't minded running. It forces the player to plan their journey instead of (like in the mod) just looking for a car to get somewhere fast. I'd like to see the vehicles spawn rate toned down a lot too. So motorized vehicles become a super rare commodity causing power shifts and tactical assaults etc.
