Dchil 829 Posted January 21, 2014 As many of you, who know a decent amount about firearms, know one of the advantages of an internal magazined* weapon, like the magnum and the mosin, is that they can be topped up without too much fiddling. However in this game you are unable to do that without completely unloading these weapons. I propose a solution to this error. Allow us to load the "Magazine" that is known as the (357/7.62) rounds whilst it is in the weapon as it could simulate the topping up of a weapon. Doing this on an M4 or an FNX is near impossible as the magazines in those are designed to be detached, not loaded whilst still in the weapon. *Please note that i am fully aware that referring to a revolver's cylinder as a magazine is using incorrect terminology even if it is the magazine for the weapon. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I do believe the quickest way to reload is to eject remaining rounds and empty cases, and do a complete reload. This maneuvre should be able to be accomplished with "Reload"-button, imo, with speedloaders making it quicker. Adding rounds while the gun is in the inventory should be like refilling magazines. Currently the only way that the engine will let you use a weapon is if it has a magazine which is the 357 rounds in the revolver. If you put it away and bring it back out then you can drag the rounds out without it ejecting. You can then reload with either loose rounds or pressing R puts any rounds made like that in. SFRGaming 718 Posted January 21, 2014 I hope we eventually get to chamber-load weapons with detachable magazines. Battlefield 4 shows this neatly. Gun is empty. Pop and mag in and release the bolt, 1 round in the chamber. Pull the mag out, pop a new one in. 31 rounds total (considering it has a 30rnd capacity.)
