Can't get Experimental patch to work

Everything I've read says to simply go into steam and opt into the Experimental - Preview Testing Version under betas and then you will patch into the experimental. However, I have done this repeatedly and it does not work. Steam does not download anything, and when I go into the game I am still on the stable build. I have tried several times with the same resutls every time. I even verified the game cache while opted in and nothing works. What am I doing wrong? Is there a beta access code I need to enter or something? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Well thanks. I had seen that it was delayed and was supposed to be out 3 hours ago according to my source. This information was super hard to find, but from now on I'll try Rocket's twitter. Thanks again.

You can also find it on the forums if you don't want to check twitter. Usually in the announcements area.

Ya, delayed is a bit arbitrary. Not updating the announcements is... we will go with inconvenient.
