More zombies less axes?

Just taken me around 3 hours to find one axe. This is not because buildings have been looted all the outbuildings seem to contain rather a lot of motorcycle helmets. Inside it's beanies. Now I know Chernasusians love their bike helmets and beanies but come on??

 

Also there seems to be s slight increase zombies hanging around.

 

Wondered if anyone else is experiencing this? More zombies less axes? I've found this on 3 different servers.

 

I'm all for making them game tougher, happy with more Z's as long as it stays realistic. A huge number of buildings graphically have chimneys therefore you would expect a lot of those houses/buildings would contain axes rather than motorcycle helmets.

 

Hopefully soon they'll sort out damage for crowbars and wrenches, etc. I reckon you could down even an infected in 6 - 7 blows some are taking over 15.

 

Not moaning still loving it just an observation.

I've found more axes the last time I played than the last week put together... but I did notice far more zombies than usual.  In one small town I offed 4 zombies ALL chasing after me, and then another 3 a few minutes later.  That's more zombies than I've seen in an entire large city at one time.  I loved it and hope it was intentional.

Lately I'm finding tons of axes (both fireman and regular axes) in the so called Police Station. Not sure if it was the same before, but it surely looks like there are plenty in that building. Anyways it is funny how private houses have more medical items than can openers...

Strange, in my travels through Stary, Vybor and surrounding areas, I've seen a lot less Zombies. So much so, that I thought someone had been through already. All the doors where closed though and both schools had an M-4.
