Beanditz and the PBX Chronicles

Order of events:

Died over 9000 times learning the game.

Server hopped for OP gear at barracks.

Lost it all in water.

Got good at the game.

Found shitty small boats.

Found the PBX.

Our true journey began, really began, when we found the small boats:

Ramen, Jai, and I had been trying to get "setup" so to speak for quite some time. Promptly after we found the small boats and Jai died he decided the game sucked and quit, but that all changed when the PBX decided to show it's mystical and sensual rubber underwear.

For those of you who don't know, the PBX is the fastest aquatic vehicle in the game, it tops out at 72 mph (kph since it's in russia?). We soon decided that we couldn't just leave it anywhere, it would get stolen easily, so we chose to make our home on Skalisty Island. Now that we're up to current events, I'll be adding new entries as separate posts.

Jai and Ramen have been busy all day, I don't want to wait anymore, the PBX doesn't like to be kept waiting. I've decided to mount her bow once again.

== 20:28 PST ==

I've recently returned from Elektro. While heading to the firehouse in search of AK mags I saw a few survivors. They ran in single file and were like floating ducks. I unloaded a spray to frighten them, then turned and ran behind the hospital as one of them blind fired with his enfield drawing every zed within a 4 block radius.

I climbed up the ladder in the back alley and watched them regroup right below me. There were 5 of them now, all huddled in a little circle. I swapped to single fire and shot 3 of them, the other 2 DC'd, before I could finish the other 3 they disappeared, I can only assume they alt F4'd. I waited a few minutes and then saw 3 reappear all patched up. I let them regroup and start to move when I sprayed them with automatic again, right as they died the other 2 connected, I made short work of them.

I had begun to heat things up in elektro and figured it was time to head back, a pentakill isn't a bad haul, I decided not to loot them as I have everything I need and stealing isn't my style.

== 21:00 ==

I'm back at the island now, I guess I better rest up till they get back, I had extra fuel so they'll have no clue I took the boat out. Huehuehue.

Someone had swam to the island raided our tent and shot at one of us, he was easily dispatched but we had to leave the island we wrongly assumed was a sanctuary from idiots.

Good for you if you can survive there though.

Part of the game, we hide our shit on the far side of the island, and we recently moved, I'll update this later on tonight.

It all seems well and good till like us you get raided by bandits server hopping and loaded to the gills with barbwire, the it all goes to hell very quickly...... no point having a camp at all in this game travel fast and travel little only take what you need and move on. even on a server we got for our clan of friendlies there is no where thats safe for more than a few days. tried a few times now to start a base for players who want to just kill zombies and collect loot, every time bandits find it and destroy the lot, i doubt they even take very much of the gear, they're just there to ruin everyones day and hard work.

Sadly this game may suffer greatly because of this as people that dont want to be bandits or fear constant bandit attacks, will give up and the player population will drop off quickly leaving only bandits who will get bored when there is no-one to kill forcing them to go to a new game and grief people there instead. that will leave the game with only the diehards, hand full of bandits and the hackers oh yay what a great game it will become.......

hopefully it doesn't come to this but in the month and a bit ive been playing it ive seen just as many players leaving due to frustration as players joining due to hype, eventually the hype will wear off though and they will leave in the droves. i guess maybe those of us that are sick and tried of the bandits need to either wait a few months and not play till the bandits get bored and move on or band together on servers as allied friendly groups and push the bandits out where we can as a united front?
