SLi / Crossfire Support

Recommended Posts

I understand that DayZ is still in development, and many features are still to come. However, I must ask why SLi and Crossfire support was removed from DayZ SA but was fully functional during the DayZ mod? Has this perhaps got something to do with NVidia / AMD not adding the SLi / Crossfire profile for DayZ SA or is it up to the developers to implement multi-GPU support?

would hope its added at some point but hey it is alpha.

one of my PC's I have 2xHD7850's in crossfire, IMO these are still awesome cards, only need 1x6pin power connector and they overclock well

when I run off one card I get ok frame rates still a bit choppy, its still choppy on my more powerful nvidia system and the gup runs between 70% & 90% load

when I run in crossfire using the arma profile the framerates stay about the same and the GPU's only go to ~35% load

kinda strange how it works.

This is interesting,

i've ordered my 2nd 24" IPS monitor, and i'll be buying a 3rd next month.

I run a 4670k @ 4.2ghz and i have an Sapphire Toxic R9 280x + Samsung 840 Pro SSD

Peformance wise everythings on high except for clouds and shadows getting 45 - 60 fps @ 1920 x 1080 dependent on location.

if i run eyefinity and run 5760 x 1080 on the 1 card i assume it will be like 20 fps ? anyone out there that run this on tripple monitor set up ?

i may consider buying a 2nd 280x

Because Dean has a secret pact with AMD so now everyone who wants to play DayZ has to switch.
