Okay so my headphones are currently broken, but if that's the case and someone doesn't own a headset when people in the game talk through the mic would you hear it through your computer speakers?  Or do you need to have a headset in order to hear people talking to each other in game?

The sound from direct chat comes through your speakers normally. You don't need a headset to hear people talking.

Okay thanks.  I guess it's just a coincidence that I've yet to hear anyone talking through the speakers yet then.
