That's odd, do you know what model your using? I've had issues with mine in the past that i had to unplug it and replug it when starting a game, but i haven't had to do it with DayZ

Model ?

The model is a "Yeti" and the company that makes it is called "Blue" it is not a "Yeti Pro"

I have never had any problems with the mic, so Im sure the problem is actually a game related problem, and not a mic problem.

I had the same issue, had to raise my volume and amplification to the maximum and get the mic a little bit closer.
In my case people simply weren't hearing me loud enough to even notice I was speaking, even though in any other game or program it was loud and clear.

Hope this helps!

Since my microphone works 100% perfectly in every other program I'm using, I'm sure it is not any settings on the microphone.

But it is something in DayZ that blocks my microphone to work in the game.

Are all your microphone drivers all up to date?

Yes - I would assume so, Windows drivers
