Just for future reference, if you find yourself in that position where you don't have a bandage, stick your shirt into your inventory and it appears right away instead of waiting for it to appear in the vicinity.

He would have gotten shot while turning around and stopping to pull out the M4.  He should have run left and used the trees and houses as cover and to lose the attackers, shouldn't have entered a house where his attackers could see him and shouldn't have left the door open and should have leaned around the corner of the stairs and covered the door waiting for them to follow if he knew they were following.

Nice job flanking them, but I'm wondering, given the huge risk you took running out there, why you didn't...

 

1) Take the guy's backpack as well (it contained ammo and a medkit as well as some other useful stuff)

2) Take cover behind the bale. If you'd gone prone, your attackers might have also thought you were dead.

3) Find out where the other guys are and shoot the shit out of them

They had already fired a Mosin shot at me on my way to attack that guy. I didn't want to hang around a split second longer than I had too. I intended to get hidden with the M4 and then go back for the rest but....
