I have one gripe at the moment...just a simple thing...

Why in the fuck is there not a confirmation when you click "respawn"?

I just lost days worth of shit because I wanted to edit my options and clicked "Repsawn" by accident.

User error yes, but every other program in the world asks you for a confirmation before committing to an option that will totally jack your shit up.

I think of it as modern day, programmable, common courtesy.

I too have been a victim of the miss-click of death' date=' I had just gotten a DMR, a decent pistol, an alice pack and worst of all...my first can of Mountain Dew, just moments before.

You get Mt. Dew O_o

And that sucks.

Lol' date=' Where was your body? I understand where you come from and I agree, it's an easy and needed fix. Pwetty Pwease Wocket.

I had just spent about an hour and twenty minutes running SE out of the debug plains....:(

It is very unfortunate yes, but the price of being new to Arma, and investing time and energy into what is still very much an Alpha-stage mod, or even misclicking. The mod changes little (actually pretty much nothing) in reality of the basic framework, and long-term persistence was never really a feature before this mod. So what was a convenient option before is now a deathtrap. Again, it is an Alpha, and the price of not being experienced with the engine and it's oh so many idiosyncrasies. Believe me, this is not the first one you will stumble upon. Even the most experienced DayZ player who is new to the ArmA series is going to have many more surprises in store ;-)

Hehe. I've played Arma for a little while now. I was just in a hurry to change some settings and clicked too early.

>.< D'oh!

This is a relatively common topic for threads lately, and a serious one. While I personally have not done it, yet, I do think it should be an issue that is addressed.

You talk about a game of survival, a game in which you can simply click the wrong button while editing options and immediately delete everything you spent your time off from work earning.

This should be in the suggestion forum, and posted as a suggestion rather than a complaint.
