So start of day 3!

Sigh so died last night before i logged of by some guy who decided to kill me even tho i had no weapons and only a backpack and 1 can of beans.

so just spent about 2hours running around trying to figure out where i was "had no clue where i spawn" i couldent find any signs to check vs the online map "yes i do use the online map"

after about 1-2 hours running around and trying to scavenge the small houses i found along the way with no signs but with 0 luck i finaly manged to find a couple of smaller lakes and turns out i was getting close to electro power plant "first time getting to electro"

 

only to get sniped at as soon as i got close to the power plant

yeah yeah i know the main cities holds more people

but come on i was unarmed no axe no melee weapon or range weapon. i franticly shout in to the microphone Friendly friendly im unarmed, with 0 responce the guy just keeps shooting. i start pulling the jack rabbit run around trying to dodge. i manage to get around a corner without getting hit and start to run,

 

Problem here is the guy is up on a tower and got free view around the surrounding area except the buildings close to the Tower he's in, so i try to sneak off and get further in so i might be able to pass him by undetected only to turn another corner to find one of his friends with a Magnum in hand. i frantly hit the hands up to surrender but before i even get the Chance "BAM" your dead.....

 

i get it theres alot of douches but  i dunno this is only my what third day? and its starting to get little bit annoying but not much one can do except start over again,

but im starting to like the idea that marauders should have something that makes them distinguashable so when you meet one you know automaticly that guy is a douche, and when you plant your firefighter axe firmly in to their skull you wont feel any remorse.

uhm the sith in me might have been channeled abit much there but abit hard to stay unaffected lol

If you need help or need anything, let me know and I'll add you on steam and try and help out when I'm online. My suggestion, though, is to head north. Stay away from Cherno and Elektra, especially when playing alone. There are military bases up north and some good sized cities with plenty of supplies, and very seldom will you run into people up that direction. I'm not saying you won't, so be cautious, but a lot less of a chance of getting sniped or robbed up north.

My thought's exactly, I spawned twice in/near electro and was gunned down in under 10 steps.  Guess bandits aren't what they used to be huh, well on the upside I also noticed no nearly as much suicide on the east coast.  So it's got that going for it which is nice.

Well, IF you spawn in Elektro, it is definitely worth looting. After looting the two firstations and the office, I may have come under fire. I was not sure they were shooting at me or the Zed, so I took off into the city from the power plant.

As I am running south, in the middle of the city, I stumble upon two bodies. One a dead new spawn... The other a tricked out server hopper (M4 fully loaded, Mosin, 357, FNX, 2 medkits, protector case , Tons of ammo, hunter backpack, 3 canteens, etc)

I largely swap close with the dead server hopper, and take off. A FRIENDLY (!) Player falls in behind me... I think he wanted to roll together, but I hadn't even had a chance to look at what I found. We part ways.

I hear my son start crying. He has woken up from his nap, and I need to get him. So I go into a building and log out.

This is after spending several hours looking for a mosin (and having like 3 character resets).

Definitely worth it IF you have nothing to lose.
