Long Range Scope as binocs

Small little suggestion, no idea if it has been proposed already, but here goes.

 

Why not make it possible to use the LRS as a separately usable binocular? I mean, I don't see the reason why you can't just pick up the scope and just use it without a weapon. Just grab it in your hands and look through it. Why must you be forced to use it only while mounted on a weapon? I mean, I love the Mosin, but I catch myself using it a lot solely for scouting purposes in combination with the LRS.

 

It feels like a realistic feature. No idea if it's hard to implement in the game. Don't see why it should be any different from implementing a standard binocular. 

 

What do you guys think?
