weird wipe

Exited game and entered  on another server when I entered I was back on the coast as a noob with all my equipment gone. Anyhow I sighed and thought oh well it's a wipe nothing I can do about it.

 

I exited the game re-entered and I was back in the town I was looting before the wipe, except I had no clothes on and just my axe everything else was gone - it was almost as if it had been done to me as a joke. Guy running around in his underwear but we will let him keep his axe lolz.

 

Also a nearby zombie was making some weird growling sounds I not heard before.

 

Tell me it's a wipe and nothing more sinister?

After the wipe I found clothes but could not find footwear. Bumped into a player at one of the airfields and hacked him to death for his boots. God that was cold. I feel pretty sh*tty about it. Ok I'm not going to KOS  Anymore, well maybe not for a couple of hours. The guy just froze - fight man! fight!

of all the reasons I have heard for KoSing, I have yet to have heard this one.
