Zelius 0 Posted June 23, 2012 Date/Time: 23-06-2012, 01:00 (GMT+1)What happened: After the patch that introduced melee, my hatchet disappeared from my inventory. After patch 1.7.1.5 released, I managed to find a new one, which was placed in my tool belt. However, after logging in today, this hatchet seems to have disappeared as well.Where you were: Near the NE airfield. What you were doing: Nothing in particular. In case it's relevant where and when I found this hatchet: yesterday evening, in a shack next to the Berezino docks. I simply picked it up using the "take hatchet" command from the action menu, and confirmed that it was in my tool belt.

kicktd 42 Posted June 25, 2012 Same here. Got a hatchet yesterday, thought I still had it today killed a cow and got some meat, went to get some wood, look in my gear screen at the tool belt, no more hatchet :(.
Butane 2 Posted June 25, 2012 Actually I haven't had this happen. However when he first introduced the hatchet as a melee weapon a few patches ago mine disappeared and it took me awhile to find another. However this was after he reverted the change. I believe when he (rocket) changed the hatchet to melee then both he somehow wiped players inventory of them.

I'm currently on my third hatchet, which luckily seems to stick around.
