Fresh spawn still being at somewhere in the coast. You could only be able to keep your exact location if you connect back to the same server you were on previously. edit: actually, this might cause travel-hopping. maybe randomly around certain area, but the point being that it wouldn't allow spawning directly to high-yield area. elf cakes 559 Posted January 16, 2014 i don't see this happening as friends may have met up and had a server crash or something. this would mean they'd have to meet up again and would get breddy peeved. there's loads of other, much more basic ways to look at stopping server hopping. And when you got kicked ?When you got a disconnect ?When you wanted to change the server once just to play with your mates ?When the server shut down unexpectedly ? In all the cases you would be re-located although u didn't make anything wrong...The relocation seems to be a kind of "penalty" for me.But why should i be punished for not doing anything wrong ? elf cakes 559 Posted January 16, 2014 could you please share your more basic ideas, please?introduce a time limit. make it so you can only join one specific server every hour. introduce a penalty system. if a player changes servers more than 3 times in one hour they must wait a specified amount of time. make it so a player cannot log out in high grade loot areas. make it so they must walk to a field or something before logging back in. is that enough for you?
