How to get HEALTHY ? [DayZ SA]

Hi ! Can anyone tell me how exactly are you becoming "Healthy" ? I always eat & drink till my stomach is stuffed and I never get the "Healthy" message. I once got food-poisoning because of too much food , thinking I didn't eat enough. I used sterilized Bandages and still no result. 

Last time I got shot twice with a Mosin (didn't even know you can survive two Msoin shots , lol) , used a Saline Bag , Sterilized Bandages , Ate&Drank until stomach was full and still not healthy.

How exactly is this system working ? I don't really understand :(

You probably need to put alcohol on your wounds. You will be sick from the alcohol for a while, but don't worry, it will go away. Then, if you're still full from eating loads of food and drinking a lot of water bottles, it should say healthy/healing.

Drink until it says you're full

Hardcore life for a poor survivor wanting to be healthy.

 

Easiest way: grab two bags of rice and go to a water pump

He does a great job explaining it. Do not eat until you vomit. When you vomit you go backwards.

Why do you want to see "Healthy"? I personally dont remember it ever saying that for me in the SA. If it does not say anything else like hungry/bleeding etc and your character is not complaining, then you are healthy I'd say

Healthy status is when you have at least 3500 energy/food and 3000 water, you begin to regenerate blood without needing a Blood Bag. After blood has been fully restored, you begin to restore health. source (DayZ Wiki) blood and health are different things unlike the mod

Because if you get injured somehow, you immediately start healing if you are in healthy status.

 

However I think it is still bugged. My pre-patch character is still healing since the patch.
