Server Competition

Recommended Posts

This is a combination of great ideas, (from the forum,) into one suggestion:

Why not give a z count to each server, (maxing towards the 6 billion :p ) where at certain number of kills specific assets get unlocked for THAT server. Assets could range from weapons to vehicules to base building to anything. For example, at 1000 z kills AK47 gets unlocked, at 5000 total z kills in same server AK74 gets unlocked... at 1000000 z kills Kamov gets unlocked etc. All equipment unlocked should be server specific, (u change server, u lose that cool laser sight).

I can think of some benefits with the implementation of such a system:

Players might band more together towards a specific goal.

Players might "invest" time in specific servers, building towards new features.

Players might attack other servers :)

KOS, Bandits will most probably congregate naturaly to servers layed aside for this purpose.

Less server changing.

Last but not least, the developers might have an easier life introducing new features as these get functional.

OUR UAV IS AIRBORNE!!!!!

Cod forums that way --------->

Seriously though, the whole idea is you are scavenging for supplies in a post apocalyptic world, the loot tables would suck with this method imo

Frosti > ¿

Immersive> at 20 zs we introduce donuts!

Darryl Dixon> U think? Imo the loot development portrays the communal effort to survive. Z kills is just used to put a "time stamp" on it. Don't forget that after something becomes available, u wil still need to find it in the world.

Korsbaek> But people who do not want that would eventualy satelite arround more cooperative servers. After a while, any axe wielding pvp player would find themselves at a dissadvantage when visiting a world where the rest have guns and probably know each other.
