postman 0 Posted May 12, 2012 I really enjoy this mod, it is fun to play with friends, however there are a few (in my opinion) issues I would like to see changed.[Zombies]The first is the zombies, since I am an American, it is fairly hard to find a server that has any slots left and a decent ping, so it's already laggy enough.Trying to shoot zombies as they zig zag towards you really fast is impossible for me (doesn't help not being that good at shooters).Another thing about them is that they run at basically the same speed as players, making it impossible to lose them, turning around to shoot them is a death sentence if they are close enough.[Maps]I know you can find maps, however after playing for a few days the only valuable thing I could find was a winchester and a few mags for it.I personally think you should start off with a map, since it is VERY hard to coordinate with friends where they are, and meet up somewhere.even with the use of a map on google such as this: http://i.imgur.com/VRJM8.jpg[blood loss]When you get hit by a zombie, or fall, or get hurt some how, you start to lose blood, you can stop the blood loss with bandages, however, I hear the only way to get more blood is to go to a hospital and get a transfusion. That is quite an extreme thing to have to do in order to get more blood.I know the mod aims to be realistic, but it should also be fun, and not a death sentence if you get hurt.Blood could be regenerated slowly if you are hydrated enough, and have food (as with real life). That's all I got for now, thanks for taking the time to read! inacio 4 Posted May 12, 2012 I have shit latencies to every server (fastest one is 140ms) because I live in Brazil, and I have trouble with zombies too, but it's not their fault. Shouldn't be changed.Maps should still be a rare-ish item. This game doesn't need to be easier. You can also kill animals and cook meat. Blood loss and death should still be there as they are now. This game doesn't need to be easier. The blood regen thing, though, could be a cool addition. 5 blood units per 30 minutes sound good enough.

Avoid getting swarmed at all costs. If you have several on you, find the nearest building and take them out one by one as they enter. They're forced to walk indoors.[Maps]I know you can find maps' date=' however after playing for a few days the only valuable thing I could find was a winchester and a few mags for it.I personally think you should start off with a map, since it is VERY hard to coordinate with friends where they are, and meet up somewhere.[/quote']This is just part of the fun, imo. After playing (and dying) for a long enough period you begin to get used to your surroundings. Memorize the locations of the coastal cities and their directions from the major cities (Electro & Cherno). Learn to recognize where the good items spawn and check those buildings whenever you come across them. It all comes with experience.[blood loss]When you get hit by a zombie' date=' or fall, or get hurt some how, you start to lose blood, you can stop the blood loss with bandages, however, I hear the only way to get more blood is to go to a hospital and get a transfusion. That is quite an extreme thing to have to do in order to get more blood.I know the mod aims to be realistic, but it should also be fun, and not a death sentence if you get hurt.Blood could be regenerated slowly if you are hydrated enough, and have food (as with real life).[/quote']Common, canned food restores 200 blood when consumed, and cooked meat restores 800. This is sufficient for minor injuries, imo. I'd be ok with blood regeneration only when you're well fed/hydrated and above ~8k blood, and even then it'd have to be very slow.
