O hell no.

 

People need to stop trying to turn DayZ into something it isn't.

 

I'm sure if he wanted DayZ to be like the ever-so-typical AAA titles he would have made the mod with the crytek engine or UDK or something.

Or maybe he made the mod in ArmA because that's what he knows, and maybe they picked Real Virtuality because Bohemia let them use the engine while CryTek wanted 1.5 million?

 

Also, I don't think Bohemia pays enough for either of those guys. Eastern europe guys, eastern europe.

Hi.

 

That might actually make sense if you couldn't use the full version cryengine for free to develop mods or even no charge full-games.

 

Also for independent developers that want to charge for the game, you still don't have to buy the engine(pay 1.5 million lol) they have royalty only licensing i.e. 20% of profit goes to crytek.
