Is this DayZ Standalone map ?

Hi guys, i'm new at this game, second play and i found a lot of things, but i don't get map thing. Its too complicated, i dont even know where the hell i am, so i find a site, site about dayz's map. This map for DayZ Standalone or Dayz Mod ? Or Same map ?

That is the stand alone map and after two days of using it you will to find out exactly where you are just from subtle things like the way the buildings around you are facing.

That is absolutely the map. The best way to determine your location is probably right when you spawn that way you can limit the number of posibilities. Once you are inland it can be a bit more difficult, but it's still doable. Look for buildings along roads and note the features of the landscape around you, is there a pond, open field, forest, etc. Find the town name on a blue sign outside of a random town, it will be in Russian, this will tell you what town you are near. 

 

Good luck man, there is a learning curve but before you know it you'll always know your location.

i had mossin + scope + magnum + medic pack + Military Jacket and too much food and sodas. So this time i want to visit airport and military base... With axe :D

Early on you should be eating all of the food you find until it says your stomach is full. Storing food inside of your internal energy storage makes more sense than your backpack  ;)
