Rather than equipping the bayonet and using it as a piercing weapon by itself, it'd be neat to combine a rag with it to make a sort of makeshift handle, turning it into a shank of sorts. I mean, it'd serve the exact same purpose but it's just a little odd to see the guys gripping the blade of the bayonet itself. I know spike bayonets aren't necessarily the sharpest, but I'm sure it'd be more comfortable with a grip.

Maybe, I wouldn't mind more uses of the versatile rag.

Cheek cushion on rifle stocks.

Over a flashlight to make it more tactical so you could use it to flash on and off when you can't see things properly, without loosing your nightsight.

You can already use the bayonets on their own as melee weapons.
