Connection Issues - Cannot Play

Hello All!

So, normally I'd go about checking out the forum in regards to this issue, prior, but all of the topics were either unanswered, or did not seem to apply.

 

Forgive me if it's already a forum issue, and really don't need trolling, as it helps as much as a shattered glass shard in a peehole, but I digress:

A friend of mine is having issues staying connected.  We've gone about checking his internet connection, checking his Antivirus, etc etc... The issue seems to be that he either gets "Confirmation of Changes, connection failed" while connecting, or will get the dreaded "lost connection for xx seconds" message that usually disconnects after timeout of 60 seconds.

We have 8 people or so that play, and none of them experience the issue.  At this point he thinks it's just DayZ being buggy, and that I could understand, but I don't think this is the case.

Any ideas of why this randomness is happening?  The longest he has maintained a connection was about 5 minutes, and then couldn't connect.

I'm open to retry things I've already tried.  Thanks in advance.
