Best Spots for Camps?

A friend and I have obtained a car and are now ready to stash it somewhere. I'm wondering, where is the best place to setup a camp? I'd like it to be near a fuel source and possibly a good location of loot. The extreme edges of the map aren't very safe in my opinion, as players frequently make runs along the edge, so try to avoid those locations. Also, it would need to be an area in which I could camouflage a car. Feel free to post about camping locations not pertaining to specifications here, such as any nice places you've found.

I'll tell you, there is an area just above ___________ and a bit right of __________ that makes for an excellent camp. You should have no trouble at all finding it.

the peak of the hill NE of Petrovka has a flat top that allows tent placement. i use it, and havent been bothered yet.
