Vehicle idea: makeshift sledges

THIS IDEA IS DESIGNED FOR HILLS, WOODLAND AND SNOW IF STANDALONE ADDS SNOW :)

 

In DayZ standalone I think you should be able to make homemade sledges.

 

This could be from a Garbage can lid or a wooden plank I am not sure.

 

Say you are on top of a snowy hill and are being chased by a pack of bandits or horde of zombies..HOW DO YOU GET OUT QUICKLY??

 

Slide on your ass of course!

 

These sledges don't last long, if they hit a tree they can break and they are hard to control at speed but these sledges offer quick getaways in harder terrains like snow or woodland and offer quick transportation down hills. As said these sledges do break easily and you have to hold them they don't fit in your inventory so really you are only going to use each one once. They are quick to make though as for instance they could be a garbage can lid with some rope to hold on to or a wooden plank with added stuff to make it more of a sled. 

 

Do you think this is a cool idea or no?

That would be epic, imagine a getaway on a sledge whilst a group of bandits chase you on bikes.....

 

Or even just for racing into a town :P

step 1) open a gate at military base under a hill

step 2) attract zombies to opened gate with a flare

step 3) get on sled at top of the hill
