Exploit problem

Hello all,

 

Just wondering if anyone has had an experience like this. Bear in mind I was afk when this happened, but I'm curious.

 

My friends and I were searching Military base right outside NE airfield. I had to go afk to eat dinner so we holed up in the admin building.

 

Apparently while I was away someone came in, saw them, then ran out of the building. But he kept coming back and opening the door and then shutting it.

 

After a while nothing happens. Suddenly both my friends claim they were shot in the back from inside the building. I came back, nothing happened to me and we switched servers.

 

My friend thinks the culprit server hopped, went inside the building, the switched back and killed them. Pretty clever, but an obvious exploit of server hopping and the game.

 

Has anyone else experienced this??

Ego

It's called "ghosting" and along with server hopping and combat logging, it will be addressed eventually. Rocket has talked in the past about a logout timer/cooldown/damage penalty to address these issues.
