radio voices ? family tax splitting ??? QUESTION

hi guys,

 

about a week ago, i walked through the streets of cherno ( or elektro, i cant remember ) and suddenly i heard strange voices:

 

it sounded like a radio show.

 

???

 

so, there were two ppl., a man and a women. the women was explaining family tax splitting to the men.

if you dont know what this is, it is a law in germany that says, if you are married, you dont have to pay income taxes for each of you, but your income will be calculated together and then divided through 2, and you just need to pay taxes for this amount of money.

example: if a men has an income of 10000 and his wife an income of 5000, and the income tax is 50 procent, they normally would have to pay 7500, but with this law, they only have to pay 3250 ( 10000 + 5000 = 15000 / 2 = 7500, 50% of 7500 = 3250 )

 

also, what i wrote there, is pretty much the stuff, the women teached the men. after the women finished her "lesson" the show restarted from the beginning. this happened over and over again.

 

if you went away, the voices got quieter, and if you went back, louder again.

i checked a few buildings, to find the source, but there was nothing ( first i thought someone was playing a joke on me with the voice chat but you were able to hear this "radio show" for about 100 metres in every direction and voice chat is, i think, only 15 metres ).

 

i really want to know what this was, because it scared the s*** out of me :D ( it was 1 am and normally you dont expect something like this to happen )

The other night we watched two guys talking and could hear them from 700 meters out.

no it was not german porn.

 

im pretty sure it wasnt someone, because it started over and over again, seemed to be something like an infinite loop.

maybe it was a sound bug, there are LOTS of them like can opening sounds, door opening sounds, zombie sounds, etc. randomly appearing.

that would make sense, because i think they want to implement radios

Probably a mic left on. I've heard people talking as if it were side chat when only direct is enabled, so could be that.

Almost everyone (well at least me and a few others) have been 'glitched' into buildings... closed rooms with 'no way out'. Someone might have been glitched into a 'room' you couldn't see into/get to and had some 'fun'.. brilliant fun if you ask me. B)

Not saying this is actually what you experienced, but it is a very plausible explanation.

Dude, it was probably your safari or chrome turned on in a commercial page. This has happened to me before, I randomly start hearing commercials and is due the webpage I've open on my chrome. Idk how to explain the part were it gets quieter though, it was most likely an afk player... I've experienced a lot of players having the mic open ALL the time and even though I tried looking for the source of the sound, I couldn't find it. Aliens are reaching out for us, they're testing us Rotteck...

I'm not sure. I encountered something like this a couple days ago - They were playing just random songs and I was at the shipwreck. No one was inside or out (Had a few of my friends check the perimeter). I do recall being in a server for about 5 minutes a week before and I heard a voice say "That's it, I told you guys" then everyone was kicked off the server. I could have been the server owner doing a global chat with his mic or something. If that's not the case then this game has serious bugs with the voip lol

I agree that German porn is bad, but not THAT bad.

 

Sometimes you can hear ingame voice over large distances, it seems like they are talking over the old side-chat (I didn't play the mod, only know it from Arma3 videos, but I assume it was in Arma2, too). I don't think it is possible to actively select this chat, but there seems to be a bug that lets you speak in side-chat none the less, without people knowing. Once had two guys disclosing their position to the whole server, it didn't sound like they were even actively using ingame-voice intentionally as they were trying to meet coming from different places.
